Amish country in September–Holmes county OH

Ken surprised me with a trip to the Ohio Amish Country for our 30th anniversary. The Bed and Breakfast in the countryside near Charm was beautiful. It was a peaceful place. In the morning the owner gave a devotional message from Psalm One and then his family served us a full, plated breakfast. The other couples at our table were Christians. One couple was younger and the other was older–very older. They were delightful company. We enjoyed the day including the ham loaf special at Boyd and Wurthman’s and cheese tarts from Miller’s Bakery.

Love them Lois! My two favorites are the bicycle on the porch and the red wheel. They would make great framed prints!

You are just amazing. I must be your greatest fan. I love them all. Yes, I agree. Framed in my living room would be lovely.
