Justin & Bethany

Bethany’s mother and I have been friends for years. We met in high school. We had our first babies around the same time. We have attended the same school conferences every year. We love our families. She and her husband have twelve children. Bethany asked if I would photograph her wedding. I was thrilled to do it. Bethany and her new husband Justin were care-free and joyful. It was great fun and an honor to take pictures of their special day. Bethany and I share the same birthday (only a few years difference) and we were both married the Saturday before our birthdays. My prayer for them is that they will have a happy life together. Here are some of the pictures from their wedding day.

i love weddings! from the emotions, the ever-changing expressions, the happy bride, the nervous groom, the beautiful bridesmaids and the stunning groomsmen in their tuxedos to the kids who help lighten the atmosphere, the detailed cake and other decorations… i love capturing all that!
my favourite of your pictures is the first & third one of the bridesmaids.

Wow – what absolutely beautiful shots. Their joy jumps out at you through the computer screen! The sixth from last shot is just priceless – I think that’s my favorite. How meaningful to shoot your dear friend’s daughter’s wedding!

The black and white one with the groom twirling the bride around in a hug brought a tear to my eye. How many girls hope and dream all of their lives for a moment like that? You nailed it!

    Lois,
I know you don’t know me but I am an aspiring photographer who absolutely loves your work! I just had to say how much I loved these pictures, particularly the one where they’re just about to kiss. Every shot was just priceless and I always feel so inspired when I browse around your websites. 🙂 Thankyou for sharing your talent with little ol’ me across the country.
